What? Wasn’t he born in December?!

Yes he was. But I’m just now getting around to posting his birthday photos!

The above collage shows his three birthday cakes that were specially baked for him. The top-right was from my friend Ruth – it was a textured and moist carrot cake and she used vanilla frosting to create the “1.”  The bottom-left was baked by Wee Scotch’s dad and was a double-chocolate cake with chocolate butter-cream frosting. Scrumptious! The larger-than-life cupcake on the bottom-right was made by my friends Nicole and Irina and was a chocolatey-vanilla sensation.

Below are some photos of Wee Scotch enjoying his first ever birthday cake in a lovely tan sweater vest. In case you were admiring the handiwork of the vest, I would just like to mention that it was hand-knitted by yours truly 🙂
