Christmas Tree 2011

December has always been my favorite month because of all it’s festivities – and even more so now that it is also Wee Scotch’s birth month. We put all his birthday presents under the Christmas tree and opened most of them on Christmas day so that we could feel extra festive.

Last weekend we put up the Christmas tree and Scotch took Wee Scotch to Crate and Barrel in Mall of the Emirates to buy some child-friendly (ie. unbreakable) ornaments:

He really loves the penguins and picked out three of them in different colors and patterns.

Scotch’s sister hand-made Wee Scotch an advent calendar of 24 stockings and chose very thoughtful gifts for each stocking:

Advent Calendar of Stockings

Every morning, Wee Scotch would wake up and call for “Da-Da” to come and open up a new present from his advent calendar. It was all very good practice for the big day.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone!
