Thanks everyone for the directions. I was able to find Dean's a few weeks ago and have added the marker + directions to my google map of Asian Grocery stores.

Directions to Deans Fujiya:

If you're infront of Lamcy, on your left is Chilli's – drive toward Chilli's and follow the road bend.

Keep driving straight ahead and you will see on your left Sunrise supermarket. Dean's Fujiya is opposite Sunrise supermarket.

I know where the Japanese place is! Its fantastic, amazingly beautiful Japanese knives and great ceramics as well as interesting food.

If you're heading for Maktoum Bridge take the turn off you'd normally take for Lamcy and at the first roundabout take the first exit. You go past a building that used to have Profit Free Sports in it on the right but I'm not sure its there any more. Then you come to a kind of triangular junction with a car park in the middle, keep to the left side of the triangle and Deans is on the left at the far end of this car park.
